Answers To Burning Questions

I'm currently suffering from medicine head right now and forcing myself to write. On Thursday, I just found out that Nitin was going to be temporarily laid off from Public Storage for a little bit. Corporate America sucks. It does nothing but crush people's dreams to fuel the dreams of a few, priviledged others. I hope they re-hire him soon.

In the NaNoWriMo forums, I asked if anyone had their NaNo novel published since the whole thing started five years ago, here's the answer:

I also asked a bunch of people about their level of Metrosexuality. I ripped the questionaire right off Ryan's blog.

Here are people's answers:

How Much of a Metrosexual Are You? (1-12 - 12 is highest)
Rob - 0
Ant$ - 2
Ryan - 3
Mike T - 3
Mike E - 3
Chris - 5

Gee, and I was thinking Mike T would be the gayest straight man I know but I guess Chris beat him. It's the products he has in his medicine cabinet, I swear. He has more than I do...

Stay Away From The Plane Ticket, Slowly. With Your Hands Up

¡Ay! Alberto! What can I say? Certainly not no.

Mike T has a free ticket voucher from all his biz transactions lying around. We were going to eBay it but Walterino asked me if I wanted to go somewhere in the Caribbean instead.

I asked him that the week before we eBay'ed the ticket!

So I "won the auction" for the ticket instead and booked myself a flight to Santo Domingo, The Dominican Republic where baseball rules.

So on December 2-6, a measley four days, I will be floating in the bath-water warmth of the Caribbean sea listening to folks speak Creole Spanish. Eating dishes with perhaps dende oil and dancing to Merengue music. This will be the 14th foreign country I've been to in my whole life. I can't wait.

As I said, I've been doing this NaNoWriMo thing since the beginning of November and it's kicking my ass. I'm behind 8,000 words on Day 12. I'm currently at word 12,477. I should be at word 20,000. I suck. I need to get on the stick.

With that, I shall stop procrastinating now and at least get up to word 15,000 tonight. Wish me luck again.

Flake

God. I haven't written in this blog in ages. It's shameful really.

It's just that lots of nice things are going on. Yes, MT and I are still seeing each other and I'm practically living at his place. I have some stuff in his medicine cabinet and he now throws my panties in his wash on a regular basis now.

Two weeks ago, my grandfather got sick. You gotta understand, the guy is 87 and everytime he gets sick my family wigs out.

I wigged out myself because for years, my lolo and I have talked about a writing project we had. For Nanowrimo, I was going to write about my debaucherous adventures in Latin America but it's all going to change now. I'm going to write about my lolo's memoires instead. He had an interesting past, to say the least.

My lolo is feeling better now. In fact, he's home from the hospital after being in there for a week. He's rather bummed that he's going to have to move to my other aunt's place but I have to agree with the family consensus that at least he's going to be watched over there by my uncle, my grandfather's eldest son.

I'm actively interviewing him. I will continue to interview him and have him edit the stuff I write for accuracy. I will use the time wisely with him. No more pussyfooting around.

Brooke, Ryan's friend invited us to an early Halloween party. That was a nice intimate party and I haven't seen any of these ladies in what seemed like a while. I found out that Jenny will be taking off to travel for possibly a year next year. I'm jealous. Ryan will be visiting Alex in Germany in mid-November. I'm jealous.

I want to travel somewhere. I'm so jealous of everyone who will be leaving on a jet plane.

It was Mike's birthday last week and my present for him was tickets to The Producers. We had a blast and I just like doing nice things for him. Because I'm friends with Adam from PS who is friends with Antonio who works at The Pantages, we got moved from orchestra row R to row H. That kicked ass. :) Antonio and Adam are going to get goodies galore.

For Halloween, we didn't do West Hollywood. It was cold and rainy and the transit strike prevented us from parking relatively far away to walk to WeHo. Besides, we did that last year and oh-my-GOD! we all know how that turned out! Also, Mike E invited us to hang at his place and meet his new girlfriend, yes that was the verbiage he used. But nah! I figured he should shower her with all the attention instead of playing host with us. Damn, I've been seeing Mike for almost four months now and even I don't have the guts to use that verbiage...

This past weekend, Mike and I snuck over to Vegas. It was fun. It was our first little trip together even if it was only to Vegas. It was fun to freak out my mom and tell her that I was going to Vegas to elope and get married my Elvis.

"I'm joking, mom." I had to clarify before she started to tell everyone.

"Have fun. Don't scare me like that." she replied.

Otherwise, things are good. I'm behind by two days in Nanowrimo and I am writing this blog as my way of procrastinating. I suck.
